Yizkor
Jewish tradition and ritual regarding death and mourning shows great wisdom. We gather for Yizkor services to remember those we love four times every year: Yom Kippur, Simchat Torah/Sh’mini Atzeret, Pesach, and Shavuot.
These holy days that mark the cycle of the seasons remind us of the cycles of our lives and summon strong memories of family and love — sacred days and times we shared with parents, grandparents, children, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, and cherished friends.
