Ha’ikar: The Most Important Thing, began as a young adult (19-39) discussion group handling fear and emotions after October 7. As antisemitism rears its ugly head, it has become more and more difficult to open up about these issues to those that do not understand it. This is why we wanted to cultivate a space where young Jews feel truly comfortable being vulnerable, and sharing their thoughts, feelings, and ideas around our new normal as Jews.

After almost a year of these discussions and observing their significance, we feel an obligation to expand our demographic as we know these fears and emotions are by no means exclusive to young adults.

Thursday January 7 will mark our first edition of Ha’ikar: Zahav, a group discussion for Jews and allies aged 40+ to process the realities of the post-October 7 world.
